Aston Villa Player Ratings reached 7 and 8 after the victory of the Europa League against Feyenoord

3 minutes, 6 seconds Read

Aston Villa beat Feyenoord 2-0 on the Kuip on Thursday and won their second Europa League match of the season and eventually looked a bit like their old self.

Villa supporters have submitted their players’ reviews via our AVF assessment form, which we can do through our social media during the 2025/26 season.

The process is simple. We share a link on full-time to ask fans to give each villa player a score of 10-without zero because we are adults and you also add my own reviews of Aston Villa Review And take an average.

These average scores will be used every month for Power Rankings and ultimately to crown a player of the season.

Feyenoord Villa Player Ratings

Marco Bizot – 8.2 – MOTM

Villa’s second-choice keeper was called up at the last minute and a first-class version was delivered. Bizot as a backup is a real bonus for Unai Emery.

Matty Cash – 7.3

Cash met a difficult short frontal and used it comfortably again. Right back can be a position to improve on time, but self -confident money is a good money.

Ezri Consa – 8.0

Konsa is exactly there with the very best English center backs and I, a fan of England, think he could start at the World Cup. That’s how good he is and he shows it after the game right now.

Pau Torres – 8.0

Quality performance. Villa gave up many opportunities on Thursday, but Torres came out with his reputation stimulated. His tactical interest is becoming increasingly clear.

Ian Maatsen – 7.3

Here is the thing with buddies. I don’t know if an average rating of 7.3 is a bit high or a bit low. For me he has not yet completely delivered the attacking output that can separate him from Lucas Digne.

John McGinn – 8.0

The performance of another captain of McGinn and a different purpose. There is perhaps an argument that he does not make Villa’s best eleven at full power, but it is not a fight that I have had for a while.

Camera Boubacar – 8.1

Kamara is just an excellent football player. He is not perfect, but he is a consistent 8 or 9 out of 10 players and villa who can draw on that kind of talent is a sign of how far they have come in five years.

Evann Guessand – 6.4

Some reviews were high. Some reviews were low. That sounds about good for the early days of Villa’s Guessand era and I think it leaves us a pleasant average.

Morgan Rogers – 6.3

Rogers comes there. He is coming very slowly, but he comes there. The only thing we really know is that there are much more from him.

Emi Buendía – 8.1

Emi Buendía from Argentina. Class.

Ollie Watkins – 7.0

Watkins should have signed the mistake that Feyenoord had left to ten men, but a yellow card was considered sufficient. That run at the back was most Watkins that we saw this season. He will fly soon.

Replacement

Donyell Malen – 7.3

Five points for coming the bank. 2.3 Points for the run that scored the second goal. That sounds honest enough for me.

Lamare Bogarde – 7.0

The return of Bogarde’s Feyenoord was short and sweet, as he showed in a relatively short period that he is developing into a very decent defensive midfield player.

Lucas Digne – 6.3

I went straight in the middle for the assessment of Digne as a replacement. I don’t really think he had enough time to make a lot of impact, and he didn’t. Great.

Victor Lindelöf – 6.3

I know exactly why the two late replacers from Villa were on average higher than 6 out of 10. Stop it.

Harvey Elliott – 6.3

I mean seriously.
