Twenty -year -old Alex Sarr suffered a calf injury against Slovenia on Saturday. Unfortunately, SARR will miss the rest of Eurobasket 2025 for France. He was kept out of the loss of the team against Israel on Sunday. Moreover, on Tuesday he is vs. Poland, Thursday versus Iceland, and in other competitions the French national team competes. Before the matchup vs. Poland has France a 2-1 record.
They are in a position to make the only elimination part of the tournament. Without Alex Sarr in the Voorhof there is a lot of pressure on Guerschon Yabusele and Zaccharie Risacher. Not what Wizards fans want to hear with the 2025-26 season that is approaching quickly. In 2024-25, SARR started 67 games for Washington. He on average 13.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.5 blocks per game.
The first game of the Wizards is on Wednesday 22 October on the road versus de Bucks. Will the 2024 second general pick be available for Washington? There is no final answer from Tuesday 2 September. Alex Sarr will use this time to rest and restore a calf injury. It is easy to do easy for a few weeks is perhaps exactly what SARR should be ready for the 2025-26 season.
