Speaking earlier on the throw, the stand-in skipper Jaker Ali van Bangladesh said that they are a pity to miss the captain Litton Das in the game when he was injured. He said:
“We would like to bowlen first. In fact, he was injured in the practice session. Unfortunately he misses this crucial game.

Jaker Ali also claimed that they played a good cricket and praised India as a quality side. He explained:
