Speaking earlier on the throw, the stand-in skipper Jaker Ali van Bangladesh said that they are a pity to miss the captain Litton Das in the game when he was injured. He said:
“We would like to bowlen first. In fact, he was injured in the practice session. Unfortunately he misses this crucial game.
“Yes, I am enthusiastic to lead the team. We play against the best team in the world. The surface looks very good to catch on.”
Jaker Ali also claimed that they played a good cricket and praised India as a quality side. He explained:
“We play a good cricket. We will look to assess the conditions and play accordingly. They are a top quality side, so we have to be on our best. We have made 4 changes. Litton Das does not play. Shoriful, Taskin & Mahedi don’t play.”
