A new chapter for the Canadian cricket is about to start. The Canada Super 60An exciting ten-over-one-side cricket League with some of the world’s top players, will be launched in BC Place Stadium from 8 to 13 October 2025. This is the first time that cricket of this level has been played inside, under lights, at a top location on the west coast of Canada a real historic moment for the sport in North America.
The tournament will show the competition of men and women as part of the debut season, making it one of the most inclusive and ambitious cricket initiatives in Canadian history.
With Canada who recently qualified for the ICC T20 World Cup, the timing could not be better. Gurdeep Klair, treasurer of Cricket Canada and member of the ICC Executive Committee, believes that the Canada Super 60 can be a milestone in the cricket development of the country.
“This tournament is a springboard for the next generation of Canadian cricketers. It offers them high-quality exposure in a professional setting, here at home. Playing at a globally recognized location such as BC Place also shows the important progress that Canadian Cricket has made-the sport to this level is historic. And a ladies’ competition of day one of day one.”
Former captain of Scotland and now assistant touring director, Kyle Coetzer, shared his excitement about the location and its impact.

With prime-time games planned during the week, the Canada Super 60 is set to set up Vancouver as a global cricket destination.
