The life -saving vehicle built to conquer mountains, floods and desert

When it comes to off-road emergency response, normal ambulances simply don’t cut it. That is why Torsus came in. The Czech manufacturer, known for building some of the world’s heaviest heavy off-road buses, has just unveiled the next generation of his terrace ambulance-a vehicle designed to reach places that other ambulances can achieve, can never start dreaming.

This is not your average box-on-wheels Rescue Rig. The Terra storm ambulance is based on the 4×4 VW Crafter / MAN TGE 4Motion chassis with a closed 40 mm riding height, making it the ultimate combination of sustainability, possibilities and off-road performance. And the last iteration? It is smarter, more difficult and more responsive than ever.

  • Proactive suspension for smoother rides over rocks, mud and sand

  • Full protection from the bottom to monitor vital components

  • Increased basic freedom, so that it can tackle obstacles that most ambulances would be on

  • Snorkel and powertrain breathes for water transitions or dusty environments

  • A wide range of off-road accessories to adjust for specific mission needs

What this ambulance really strikes is that it is customer -oriented in development. Torsus worked directly with emergency aid teams to ensure that the upgrades from practice are tackled, from difficult areas to operational efficiency.

Inside, the ambulance is evenly prepared for emergency situations, with medical equipment tailored to type A, B and C -Ambulance, designed to make medical teams work, even if they are far in it.

This includes all locking differences and a low gear for maximum traction, so each wheel pulls its weight, no matter how hostile the terrain becomes. Whether it concerns rocky mountain paths, muddy flood zones or desert expenses, the terrace storm ambulance is built to get there – and then the patients to get safe.

What this ambulance really strikes is that it is customer -oriented in development. Torsus worked directly with emergency aid teams to ensure that the upgrades from practice are tackled, from difficult areas to operational efficiency. The goal is simple: make sure that help can arrive, how remote or inhospitable the location. That is indeed a big task, but it seems that Torsus may have delivered it.
