Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) has officially launched a new limited edition model hot hatch Golf GTI produced by local installation (CKD) in Malaysia – this is Volkswagen Golf GTI Sepang Edition 2025.
According to VPCM, GTI Sepang Edition Golf is the first collaboration with outsiders to produce a limited edition model, as well as the Sepang International Circuit (SIC), the first car model in the world created in the name of the iconic circuit.
This model is only offered in two exterior colors: Atlantic and Red King Blue. To distinguish this special version from the usual model, it features the Sepang Edition emblem on the tailgate, the Sepang Edition logo with UV gloss finish on the B-pillar, the body adhesive with a special graphics on the bottom of the door, as well as the special Sepang Edition plate number.
This GTI Sepang Editon still uses 18-inch Richmond alloy wheels, but they come in a gray finish Bronze matt And given the GTI, the dynamic hub cap is always in its original condition, even when the wheel is turning. This special version also gets a gloss black finish on the roof, side mirror cover and even body kits included spoiler front, spreader back and skirt sisi.
In addition, the GTI Sepang Edition golf also comes standard with GTI carpeting, GTI wind flap covers, Volkswagen native mirror heat filters, Universal 2.0 (front & rear) traffic filters with Sony Starvis night vision sensors and key holder with certificates of authenticity to confirm that this is a limited edition model.
There is no better performance to be had, neither the power network unit nor the chassis part of this limited edition model. It still uses a 245 hp 2.0-cylinder turbo engine and a maximum of 370 nm, combined with a seven-speed automatic gearbox (wet clutch), to fully drive the front wheel.
The gearbox also accepts the system differential lock XDS electronics that work on the basis of the ESC system to give the front wheel grip when taking a bend. Meanwhile, the Vehicle Dynamics Manager with Dynamic Chassis Control is also made available to assist with distribution.

Volkswagen Golf GTI Sepang Edition retails on an uninsured road from RM262,990. These prices include the Volkswagen Assurance Package (VAP), which offers unlimited warranty protection, 5 years of free roadside assistance and 7 years of free maintenance.
Compared to the usual version of the GTI, the Golf retails for almost RM9,000 to RM254,012 with a VAP package that offers a five-year manufacturer’s warranty and a five-year service package or 75,000km.
