1. Chair position
This may be controversial, but I really like chair position. Yes, it’s a challenge, but one that my body actually wants to take.

2. Happy Baby Pose
I am always disappointed as a happy baby is excluded from practice. It is a welcome reset and the best back massage ever. Well, the best free Anyway.
3. Fetal pose
There is something about rolling Savasana and Snuggling here that really gives me the feeling that I am getting reborn.

4. Cat pulls his tail
Simply … wow. It’s a turn. It is a quad rack. It is a breast opener. It releases your hamstrings. And it challenges you to breathe and let go despite the intensity. It can be difficult to enter, but worth it.

5. Warrior 2
The name says it all. When I reach my arms to the sides and my gaze focuses in Warrior 2, I feel a total badass with a real bow and arrow in my hand.
6. Humble Warrior
Perhaps the modest warrior should be called, because I always feel a female balance of strength and surrender.

7. Restorative background -bound corner
I remember the first time that a teacher taught me this version, in which you lean back on a sloping bolster (supported by blocks at the far end under your head), inch your heels further away than normal, and rolled blankets under every knee place. I felt like a pee calm.

8. Child’s pose
It touches me every time. Better yet, I add a bolster under my chest in the child’s pose to even make a relaxing pose more Relaxing.

9. Neerwaartse Hond
After a long day it is a way for me to check in with my body in Down Down Dog, to see where I keep tension and actively work through it.

10. Savasana
I get the same feeling in Savasana that I get when I get home after being away for a while – it’s like I can leave the world behind and finally get fun with myself. The best.
