The lawsuit – submitted last December in the American court in Minnesota – claimed violations of the racketeer -influenced and corrupt organizations (Rico) Act and the Lanham Act.
Plaintiffs claimed that they were being misled in a $ 3.3 million housing sale in Deephaven, a suburb of Minneapolis. Their complaint claimed that Coldwell BankerHis agents and managers, and other companies that conspiracy to forge documents, to hide missing serious money and manipulate Escrow records.

The Campolis argued that the alleged behavior reflected systemic problems in the real estate sector, where financial incentives can undermine fiduciary obligations. They claimed the advertising and marketing of the defendants who the agents incorrectly presented as a reliable and customer-oriented who formed a violation of the Lanham Act.
