2.15 pm: Made a trophy presentation, handled media duties, that’s it for session one – we’ll be back from 5pm.
1.50 pm: WE HAVE OUR FIRST CHAMPIONS! Qualifiers Shi Xunyao & Zhang Xiangyu defeated fourth seeds and compatriots Qin Yuxuan & Zong Geman 3-0 (11-5, 11-5, 11-9) to become the first ever WTT champions to be crowned in London.
1.40 pm: Top seed Tomokazu Harimoto takes it out in the fifth set against Japanese compatriot Kazuhiro Yoshimura, winning the match 3-2 (11-3, 8-11, 11-8, 4-11, 11-6).
1:25 p.m.: Yukiya Uda, the men’s seventh seed, also falls in the last sixteen, with Pole Milosz Redzimski sending him to the side 3-0 (11-8, 11-7, 11-7).
1.20 pm: Bernadette Szocs from Romania, eighth seed and top European women’s player, is out. She was defeated 3-2 (9-11, 11-5, 11-8, 4-11, 11-6) by China’s Yang Yiyun.
1:05 PM: We just saw two all-Japanese matches in women’s singles – and they both went to five. Top seed Miwa Harimoto defeated Miu Hirano 7-11, 11-5, 9-11, 11-1, 11-5, while Miyu Nagasaki made a fine comeback to beat Miyuu Kihara 9-11, 10-12, 11-8, 11-4, 12-10 on her second match point.
12.30 pm: Fourth seed Dang Qiu of Germany made it through safely – beating India’s Manav Thakkar 3-0 (13-11, 12-10, 11-6).

12.20 pm: Anders Lind is one of the most popular athletes with the fans here at the Copper Box Arena, so they will be happy to have him stick around a little longer. The sixth seed defeated Japan’s Hiroto Shinozuka 3-0 (12-10, 11-6, 11-7).
12.15 pm: Third seed Lin Yun-Yu of Chinese Taipei safely negotiates his last 16 draw against Flavien Coton of France, winning 3-0 (11-9, 11-3, 11-9).
11.50 am: Our first women’s singles quarterfinalist is Hina Hayata of Japan, who beat Xiaoxin Yang of Monaco in three games (6, 9, 6). She is followed in the last eight by India’s Manika Batra, who beat fourth seed Shi Xunyao of China in four, and third seed Honoka Hashimoto, who beat China’s Qin Yuxuan in three. That last match ended 10-6 in the second, while the match finished 13-11, 11-6, 11-6.

11.30 am: Germany’s Kai Stumper reached the quarter-finals of the men’s singles with a 3-0 (3, 5, 6) win over India’s Harmeet Desai.
