England number 1 Tin-Tin Ho continued her good form as she made a winning start to the WTT Feeder Cappadocia in Turkey.

Ho, who rose 44 places to No. 179 in the world rankings this week thanks to her good performance in reaching the quarter-finals of the WTT Feeder Doha, faced the host nation’s Merve Demir in the round of 32.
She was only behind until the first point of the match and came away from 4-4 to win the first 11-5. The second was an event to 8-8, with Ho never trailing, and she won three in a row to seal the tie at 11-8.
Demir had a try in the third to lead 4-1, but Ho worked back to lead 7-6 and then won four in a row from 7-7 to complete the win.
She next plays seventh seed Elena Zaharia (WR 130) of Romania.
Walker (WR 225) has been awarded a draw against currently unranked independent athlete Vladislav Makarov in the Round of 32. The match is scheduled for 3.50pm UK time on Table 3.
Ho is also in the mixed doubles alongside Hong Kong’s Li Hon Ming. They received a bye in the first round and will face Portugal’s Clement Laine and Italy’s Gaia Monfardini in the quarter-finals.
