WPBeginner Growth Fund to exit investments in Seahawk Media and Pro Services

In 2022, I announced that our WPBeginner Growth Fund had taken an investment stake in Seahawk Media, a promising WordPress services company. Our goal was to combine their service expertise with our platform to launch WPBeginner Pro Services and offer our users high-quality development and maintenance solutions for all our product brands.

During our collaboration, we are proud to have helped Seahawk Media achieve key milestones, including three-fold growth of their business.

However, as we look to the future, we have decided to focus on our core strengths: building best-in-class premium WordPress plugins and software products. This is where we really excel and where we believe we can provide the most value to the WordPress community.

Due to a misalignment in our long-term vision with Seahawk Media leadership, we have made the difficult but right decision to exit our investment. We wish the entire Seahawk Media team the very best in their future endeavors.

What this means for WPBeginner Pro Services customers

Effective immediately, we are terminating the WPBeginner Pro Services offering. We do everything we can to make this process as smooth as possible for our valued customers. All services you have paid for are provided with the highest quality you have come to expect from us.

Customers who have a maintenance subscription on our website can:

1. Choose to have your subscription and services seamlessly migrated to Seahawk Media, who will continue to provide you with the support you need.
2. Alternatively, you can cancel your WPBeginner Pro Services subscription without penalty. Those with annual subscriptions are eligible for prorated refunds.

Our support team will contact all affected customers with detailed instructions on how to proceed.
