Ayesha Curry did not stop over the highlights and lows that she experienced when her husband, Warriors -Superster Stephen Curry, NBA star rendom reached.
During the episode of Wednesday of the Podcast “Call Her Daddy”The Sweet July founder explained that she could not stand in the spotlight in the early stages of the career of De Puntwacht – adding that she was dealing with ruthless fans, infringements of privacy and negative comments about her appearance.
“It is a double -edged sword because parts of it have offered me doors to be opened,” Ayesha, 36, told host Alex Cooper. “I clearly have to walk through them and do the work to stay in it. But that, I think, would be the elephant in the room. I am grateful for that side of things, but on the other hand, I – in the beginning I hated it so much.”
Ayesha, who has been married to Curry since 2011, 37, noticed how she and the 11 times NBA All-Star had different visions about the future that clearly evolved.
“I didn’t sign up for it. I always thought I didn’t know he would eventually play basketball. He said he wanted to be a basketball coach in high school. I thought I would be the girl,” said Ayesha, laughing.
“So I didn’t know. And it was strange. Sport fans are so different from perhaps fans of entertainment world. And often it is very ruthless, so I didn’t expect that either.”
Ayesha, who has four children with the four-time NBA champion, remembered a moment when she cared for their daughter in the backseat of a car and a fan opened the car door and spit an insensitive remark.

When he was asked if she had gotten under control of her appearance or her actions, Ayesha said, “Oh, all the time.”

The couple celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary last month.

Stephen starts his 17th NBA season, all with the Warriors, after Golden State had selected him with the seventh general choice in the NBA design of 2009.
The Warriors ended with a 48-34 mark last season, earned the seventh seed in the Western Conference before they fell to the Minnesota Timberwolves in the semi-final of the conference.
