The US Open announced its wildcards on Wednesday, with #nextgenatp star Nishesh Basavareddy under Six American with the list of men’s singles.

Basavareddy, currently no. 109 in the PIF ATP ranking, participated in the following genes of Gen ATP presented by PIF in December before he made the semi-final at the ATP 250 in Auckland a month later. The 20-year-old, who in June to World No. 99 has risen, this year makes its US Open Main Draw debut.

Brandon Holt, Tristan Boyer, Emilio Nava, Stefan Dostanic and Darwin Blanch are the other Americans who receive a wildcard. They will be accompanied by the Australian Tristan Schoolkate and Valentin Royer.

Holt, the son of former WTA World No. 1 Tracy Austin, this year also made his top 100 debut after a qualification for the ATP 250 in Mallorca and recording his first ATP Tour Match victory. Dostancic, 23, earned his wildcard by winning the title of the men’s singles on the inaugural American collegial play -offs of wild tickets in June.

Nava, currently at a career-high no. 105 in the PIF ATP ranking, received his wildcard by winning the US Open Wild Card Challenge. The 23-year-old also won three consecutive ATP Challenger Tour titles this spring. The 18-year-old Blanch, who played Rafael Nadal in his second game at Tour level, will participate in a Grand Slam tournament for the first time.

Two-time Challenger Tour winners in 2025, Royer and Schoolkate will also occur in the main table. Schoolkate reached the second round on his US Open debut last year, while Royer is participating in the main draw for the first time.

Singles for men’s qualifying wildcards were awarded to Andres Martin, Tyler Zink, Patrick Maloney, Garrett Johns, Martin Damm, Jack Kennedy, Benjamin Willwerth, Michael Zheng and Jack Satterfield.
