Wilga traveled and worked in Australia for about two years and recently told friends that she was planning to explore regional wa.

“Although there are a number of tracks, you can see how it would be easy to get lost or disoriented in that area if you didn’t know it,” Securo said.

The temperatures in parts of the region fell under 0 degrees, according to the Bureau or Meteorology, which express concern about exposure and survival. Rain is expected on Saturday, which can further complicate the search efforts.
