After 13 months of thoughtful restoration, the Tierra del Sol golf course (designed by Robert Trent Jones II, opened in 1995) has reopened – not only renewed in form, but reimagined in purpose.

In partnership with the GEO Foundation for Sustainable Golf, this celebrated course has a transformation that goes far beyond fairways and greens.

It is now a living example of this how sport, ecology and community can thrive together.

The renovation was meticulous and meaningful, with major downsizing and redesigns of the bunkers to better blend with Aruba’s natural landscape.

A extensive redesign of irrigation systems was implemented save and use water more efficientlywhile the tees and greens on all 18 holes have been improved playing quality while minimizing the impact on the environment.
