15 students from nine schools each earn $ 8,000 fairs
The PGA of America Reach Foundation, the 501 (C) (3) Charitable Foundation of the Association, has awarded trade fairs for the Academic School year 2025-26 to 15 students at nine colleges via the PGA Works John & Tamara Lundgren program. With the generous support of the Lundgrens, the $ 8,000 fairs were presented to talented and motivated students who work on PGA of America membership through one of the 16 accredited PGA Golf Management University programs throughout the country.
PGA Works is a strategic initiative for staff designed to offer equal opportunities to a robust pool of talent from a wide range of backgrounds, including populations that are historically under -represented in the game and the business of Golf, who are willing to rise to important employment positions in Golf’s affairs.
Receptions from stock exchanges must pursue bachelor’s degree in a Golf-Industry-compatible major, with the ultimate goal of obtaining PGA from America membership. Since its foundation in 2018, a total of 108 PGA Works Golf Management University fairs have been awarded, a total of $ 864,000.
“We are very grateful for our collaboration with the Lundgrens and the continuous success of the PGA Works John & Tamara Lundgren Scholars program,” said PGA of America President and Master Professional Don Rea Jr., PGA owner/operator of Augusta Ranch Golf Club (Arizona). “These scholarships not only support the academic and career ambitions of talented students, but also strengthen the future of our game and association. By investing in this future PGA or America -members, we invest in the future of Golf, ensuring that it thrives and evolves.”
Recipients of stock exchanges were selected on the basis of academic record, leadership demonstrated by participation in school and community activities, awards and work experience, a declaration of goals and ambitions, unique personal or family conditions, an external assessment, active participation in the game of golf and playing ability.
To guarantee the success and eternity of the program, as well as objectivity in the selection process, the PGA of America Reach Foundation Scholarship America retained as manager of third parties. Scholarship America is the greatest designer and manager of trade fairs, tuition fees and other educational support programs for companies, foundations, associations and private individuals to help students realize their college dreams.
