West Ham United weighs a movement to sign Middlesbrough’s highly appreciated defensive midfielder Hayden Hackney this summer, according to Givemessport.
Since he made his first team debut in the FA Cup Third Round match against Brentford in January 2021, the 23-year-old has been one of the striking players, not only for Boro, but in the EFL championship in the past two seasons.
Last season he was an important player for Michael Carrick, with in 44 games in all matches, because the outfit of North Yorkshire lost with only five points to the Playoff qualification.
His consistent displays in the middle of the park for Boro have not gone unnoticed, with various clubs that make his progress over a possible movement.
West Ham has now emerged as the newest club to show interest in the English U21 star, such as Givemessport Claims that the East London club weigh a possible dive to sign it this summer to strengthen the midfield ranks of Graham Potter.
