Welspun Enterprises Q2 results: Net profit grows to Rs 98 crore; company to raise Rs 1,000 cr

Welspun Enterprises on Tuesday said it has seen consolidated net profit rise 59 per cent to Rs 98.08 crore in the September quarter of FY26, helped by lower costs, and the company plans to raise Rs 1,000 crore to fund the growth.The company had posted a net profit of Rs 61.56 crore in the September quarter of FY25, the company said in a stock exchange filing.

Total income fell from Rs 837.92 crore in July-September FY25 to Rs 803.26 crore in the last second quarter.During the reporting quarter, Welspun Enterprises reduced expenses to Rs 677.42 crore, compared to Rs 736.33 crore in the same period a year ago.

“We continue to maintain strong growth momentum, delivering 17 percent YoY growth in EBITDA and achieving a record high consolidated EBITDA margin of 23.9 percent in the second quarter of FY26. We remain on track to achieve our annual revenue guidance of Rs 4,000 crore at the consolidated level,” Managing Director Sandeep Garg said.


The company recently won a 910 million liter per day water treatment plant project in Panjrapur, Maharashtra. Together with the ongoing 2,000 million liter Bhandup project, we will soon be treating almost 70 percent of Mumbai’s freshwater needs. transport, but also in water projects in the field of river connections, treatment and desalination.

There are also expansion opportunities in the tunnel segment for both transport and water.

“We continue to evaluate these prospects and will selectively bid for projects that meet our return benchmarks,” the company said.

The company said it is also in the process of raising Rs 1,000 crore through a preferential issuance of warrants through private placement, including to the promoter group, reflecting continued confidence in our long-term growth strategy, to capitalize on upcoming opportunities.
