The right-handed showed consistency and firepower during the PSL season. He scored 314 points in 12 games on an average of more than 26 and a success rate of almost 163, including three fifties.
Pakistan to start a Tri series campaign against Afghanistan
Pakistan starts on Friday, August 29 with his Tri-Series campaign against Afghanistan in the Sharjah Cricket Stadium. The final is scheduled for September 7 between the top two sides, with all the competitions that are performed in Sharjah.
Salman Ali Agha, who led the national side in 18 games, will be the 17-person Pakistan team captain. The team has been in the VAE since August 20 and held training sessions and to practice games in Dubai to work for the game.
For all three sides, the series will be a crucial preparation prior to the Asia Cup, which starts on September 9 in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Pakistan has won four of the seven T20is against Afghanistan.

Shaheen Shah Afridi is struggling about sizes in the international cricket and lost his pace after injuries. The left-arm Pacer ran a knee injury in 2022 that reigned him from the Asia Cup and later disturbed him again during the T20 World Cup final against England in the same year.
