Tsarukyan defeated Poullas via decision in a wrestling match that featured some chippy moments, including a back slam from the UFC lightweight. When the match was over, Tsarukyan pushed Poullas down and landed a right hand and a knee before being separated from his opponent. At that point, chaos ensued as people ran across the mats.
Poullas, Tsarukyan Reply
“Unfortunately I got jumped,” Poullas said on social media. “But as you saw, my 62-year-old father and both of my brothers came to my rescue. That’s the way we were raised. To fight for each other, no matter what. We were outnumbered by twelve Armenians and they came running out, fighting with me, fighting for me. So that’s fucking love. That’s how we were raised.”To Arman, you’re a little bitch and besides, if you guys were watching the match, I’m the only one who got a takedown. He got a pushout and a few penalties. I’m still the champion, baby.”
Tsarukyan responded with a short statement about X.
Fuck around and find out 🤷♂️

Tsarukyan is one of the top lightweight prospects in the UFC, coming off a submission victory against Dan Hooker last November. However, Tsarukyan has not endeared himself to promotional buyers. In addition to pulling out of a title shot against Islam Makhachev at the last minute prior to UFC 311, Tsarukyan drew negative attention for throwing a punch at a fan during a strike and headbutting Hooker during a face-off prior to the fight.
