UFC Flyingweight Alessandro Costa suffered more than a loss in his fight at Nouch UFC last Saturday.
Flights Alessandro Costa and Alden Coria treated Vecht fans on one of the best attacks of the night at NOCHE UFC last Saturday in San Antonio. It was a back and forth fighting as long as the fight lasted, before Coria Costa finished with punches only 47 seconds in round 3.
It was a disappointing loss for Costa after an impressive victory over Kevin Borjas in May 2024. He was supposed to return several times in the past year before he withdrew due to injuries.
Halfway through his fight with Coria, Costa was repeatedly seen to his feet, after the confusion of the UFC broadcasting team. Later it came to the surface that Costa cut open his foot after he had captured it in the fence halfway through the fight.

At the moment it is uncertain how long Costa is needed to recover from his foot injury. He made his first octagonal appearance in 16 months.
In the meantime it was a striking victory for Coria in his UFC debut. Before he signed at the UFC earlier this year, Coria was considered a top flying weight prospect by his decorated term of office with Fury FC.
NOCHE UFC contained many highlight-reel moments, including the TKO victory of Diego Lopes at Jean Silva in the main event. Lopes made a strong case for another title shot of featherweight after his loss against Alexander Volkanovski for the then vacant title earlier this year.
David Martinez handed Rob Font a shocking defeat and Rafa Garcia beat Jared Gordon by TKO.
The next UFC card will take place on 27 September at UFC Perth, with a slightly heavyweight main event between Dominick Reyes and Carlos Ulberg.
