Value of OSO Iighodaro to the Phoenix Suns will soon explode

The Phoenix Suns will undoubtedly be sellers this coming NBA season in the trade deadline, because they want to change some of their experienced players into future concept choices and young talent with top who need a change of environment. That is why both Grayson Allen and Royce O’Neale are now so important for the franchise.

Both are Elite 3-point shooters who are still in their prime as O’Neale is now 32 years old who have left for their current contracts for several years. In other words, they are the kind of player with which schedules and playoff grilles are looking for that one extra shooter who talks themselves, and often pay too much for.

The value of OSO Iighodaro will shoot up for Suns.

Another under the radar player to look at who can eventually get the sun, a nice little trek is second year ahead of Oso ighodaro. Although his Rookie season was at best above average, he was able to play more illustrious teammates such as Kevin Durant for a few nights on the field.

He has now packed some muscle pot and looks up at the challenge to become more a leader in a selection that has become younger, and he now gets the chance to do exactly this. The departure of Durant also means that there are minutes that have to be filled – and although Nigel Hayes -Davis is the right addition from Europe – Iighodaro is going to get a number of looks.

But as we have already discussed here, it can actually place him in the shop window while he will remain a Rookie contract in the coming years. The need for teams to have an impressive forward that both can play alongside more traditional Bigs – while they also get a few minutes with the five themselves – has never been so bigger.

Iighodaro has that versatility, although he has competition in the form of Kaman Maluach, Mark Williams and even Nick Richards. Both all and O’Neale can play with the three – just like Ryan Dunn – that again limits the impact that Iighodaro can have. The entire schedule exists to elevate Devin Booker anyway – and although Untighodaro can do that defensively – others can also be outside of it.

That is why you should not be surprised when Illodaro starts its second season well and immediately becomes a trade goal for other teams. Not that the suns have to sell – he could end up part of their bright future – but Dunn looks like their concept choice from that class that they are higher to stay in the long term.

Iighodaro is going to get them more than all, O’Neale or Richards, and he is perhaps even the key to Jonathan Kuminga -Handeldaks that start again. Even if nothing happens, he also has the chance to build on the 17.1 minutes he obtained last season, and all for a head coach who often wants to play him. This is a win-win for Phoenix.
