Royce O’Neale’s future with the sun is painfully clear

The Phoenix Suns will return a much younger schedule for the 2025-26 season – and no longer on the agenda with winning a championship – that means a need for fewer veterans in this schedule. It is clear that Phoenix still needs a number of old heads to show the young people how it is done, what is one of the reasons why Dillon Brooks will be so valuable in the valley.

But with three rookies and a few second -year -old boys in Ryan Dunn and Oso ighodaro all need minutes to grow – not to mention the new recruit jalen green while he is trying to be an all -star for the first time – there are not enough minutes to go around. All that competition, and we didn’t even talk about the depth at the position of the Point Guard. No thanks.

Suns will try to move Royce O’Neale before the Trade Deadline.

That is why Royce O’Neale eventually becomes the strange man in Phoenix. At the moment the Suns have two boys in O’Neale and Grayson all who have many similarities, including the fact that they are Elite 3-point shooters and both are under contract for years. O’Neale is three plus years older, and that fact is also important here.

As the Trade Deadline approaches next season, another team will talk to believe that they are one shooter away from winning everything. The Suns themselves were once guilty and added Terrence Ross in the hope that he could stretch the court in the play -offs to help this team win games. Although that did not happen completely, O’Neale is an upgrade about Ross.

The reason that the O’Neale leaves and not all is because he earns less money and can also be obtained for less. The Front Office in Phoenix has done the most from the second round picks in recent years, with previous selections, including Eighodaro, Koby Brea and even Toumani Camara.

It is also possible O’Neale to be politely to be moved to try to win a championship, although he has always appeared satisfied in the valley and fans is loved. The costs for his services?
