UFC Vegas 108 Went down last night (Sat., 2 August 2025) in UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, who saw Tatsuro Taira submit Hyun Sung Park Via neckcrank (highlightswhile Chris Duncan defeated Mateusz Rebecki via a unanimous decision. In further action, Neil Magny defeated Elfu Zaleski dos Santos Via technical knockout in round two (see it here again).

Winner: Tatsuro Taira
With whom he should be confronted: Amir Albazi

Taira had an almost perfect performance and won against Park last night, but I don’t think it will influence matchmakers not to book him again against Albazi, who bowed out of the battle because of an illness. Albazi is number 4, so if Taira wants to make its way to a title shot, he would take him out a big step in the direction of that goal. I understand that he wants to cut the line after his big win, but I just don’t see that happening.

UFC Fight Night: Rebecki V Duncan

Winner: Chris Duncan
With whom he should be confronted: Mike Davis

Duncan raised his win rack to three in a row, 5-1 generally under the UFC banner, so he makes big steps to a top 15-place. I would not mind seeing a fight between he and Davis, who is on a similar run, and also silent, because he is 5-2 under the UFC banner. He was last seen to knock out Mitch Ramirez Via Flying Knee last month (see it here), so it would be a great matchup to see who is taking a big step in their MMA career.

UFC Fight Night: Brener V Ribovics

Winner: Esteban Riabovich
With whom he should be confronted after: Manuel Torres

After he had his three combat switch breaking into his last fight, Riabovics came back with a great performance against Elves Brener to make him best on all the jury’s score cards. Then a fight against Torres sounds like a fun evening at the office for all parties involved, including Vecht fans. Torres is 4-1 in the Achthoek and the Jager born in Mexican has earned finishes in 15 of his 16 wins, including four under the UFC banner. This fight has written fireworks everywhere.

UFC Fight Night: Rosa V Cornolle

Winner: Karol Rosa
With whom she should be confronted: Miesha Tate

Rosa continued her streak of victory one, lost one that has been going on since 2021, which is equal to a 5-4 record during that period. She is back in the profit column after beating Nora Cornolle Through a unanimous decision, but let’s not let her take the crème of the crop until she starts to win on a more consistent basis. That is why a fight against Tate might be good for her. Tate comes from a loss of Some of Sania’s Earlier this year, so she is in need of a victory if she wants to keep her career. For Rosa, a victory over a former world champion could get her closer to the top 5.

UFC Fight Night: Magny in Single Dos Santos

Winner: Neil Magny
With whom he should be confronted: Chris Curtis

Magny broke his two-field skid with a great victory Elfu Zaleski. With 35 fights in the Octagon, there are not many new matchups available for Magny, but Curtis is a man he still has to experience. Curtis recently broke his own two-field losing series by beating Max Griffin Last month, so he and Magny are in the same boat.

UFC Fight Night: Silva V Vallejos

Winner: Kevin Vallejos
With whom he should be confronted: Steven Nguyen

Vallejos extended his profit reak to five straight, two in the Octagon, after his unanimous decision victory over Danny Silva. The rising featherweight starts his career, and he has demonstrated promise to be a future competition, just like Nguyen. “The Ninja” comes from a technical knockout victory Mohammad Yahya As a result of an eye injury. That said, that fight should have been before that after he had his enemy set a record six times before the interruption.
