UFC boss Dana White has given his opinion about the importance of freedom of expression, also for those who are on the Roster.

There are a few subjects that Dana White regularly has to contend when it comes to his many interactions with the media. One of the greats is Fighter Pay, and another is the subject of freedom of expression. Over the years there have been enough hunters in his selection who have said and did some pretty crazy things, but more often than not, their actions remain unpunished by the UFC.

For the longest time, White has suggested that this is because he believes so strongly in free speech – on both sides. Some have hit him about this and called him a hypocrite, but that has always proved to be his attitude on this issue.

During one Recently 60 minutes interviewWhite entered a little more detail and used recent regular events as an example.

“I am a strong proponent of free speech, and unfortunately is probably the most important speech to protect hate speech.”

“I think you are a disgusting person when you celebrate the death of another person, but people make mistakes. People are going to do stupid things. I don’t like to destroy people’s lives to do something stupid.”
