The UFC is back in Abu Dhabi this weekend for UFC 321, which will see the highly anticipated showdown between England’s Tom Aspinall and France’s Ciryl Gane.
A match-up that has been talked about for years has taken on new meaning, with Aspinall now the undisputed UFC heavyweight champion following the retirement of Jon Jones earlier this year. The specter of Jones may overshadow the fight, as ‘Bones’ almost immediately changed his mind and wants to make the UFC White House card next year – but it remains the best fight the promotion can put together at heavyweight right now.
In the co-main event, Virna Jandiroba and Mackenzie Dern meet for the second time, this time for the women’s strawweight championship vacated by Weili Zhang.
