Patchy Mix is looking for revenge.
Mix has entered the UFC with a considerable amount of buzz. He was on a hot series under the Bellator banner and even recorded the bantam weight of the promotion. Mix came in the UFC who drove a seven-fighter-winning series, but he was outgunned in his promotion debut in June.
Mario Bautista is the man who ended his line through a unanimous decision. Bautista now proceeds to a potential title -eliminator against Umar Nurmagomedov on UFC 321. During an interview with Mmajunkie.comMix expressed his conviction that he can beat Bautista if he got a second chance.
“I have a lot of respect for Mario Bautista, and the same with Umar,” Mix told MMA Junkie on Tuesday. “I have no prediction about the fight, but what I know is … (the winner) will probably get the title shot.
“If Mario Bautista wins … Everything I know: I come back for that fight with everything in my body. Whether it is now, a year, two years, I will win until I get that fight back. I hope we can meet each other so that I can not only prove for everyone in the world, but against myself. He could be completely ready. If I can be completely ready … I believe that I can be the boy that boy.”
First Mix must remain focused on his UFC 320 opponent Jakub Wikłacz. The two are planned to collide on Saturday in T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Wikłacz will make his UFC debut and Mix hopes to prove that it is too much, too fast for the former KSW Bantamweight champion.
UFC 320 is tormented by a light heavyweight title Rematch between champion Magomed Ankalaev and Alex Pereira. In the Co-Main event, Merab Dvalishvili will put its bantam weight gold at Cory Sandhagen. Stay on Saturday at Bjpenn.com for live reporting from UFC 320.
