Santana won two Cy Young Awards with Minnesota and made four all-star teams, three as twins, in his career. In eight years with Minnesota, Santana built 35.8 bwar with a 3.22 ERA and 9.5 SO/9 earlier Minnesota exchanged him to the New York Mets In 2008 in exchange for midfielder Carlos Gomez and World Phil Humber, Kevin Mulvey and Deolis Guerra. Santana had an ERA of 3.18 with the Mets about parts of four seasons before retired after the 2012 season due to injuries.
Santana, now 46 years old, joins manager Omar Lopez about the WBC coaching staff of Venezuela. The schedule of 2026 from Venezuela still has to be announced, but the team has the potential to be one of the best in the tournament. Team Venezuela’s selection during the WBC 2023 Included Twins Ace Pablo López, Outfielder Ronald Acuña Jr., Infielder Luis Arraez, Third Honkman Eugenio Suárez, Catcher/First Honkman Salvador Perez and Second Honkman/Linker Jose Altuve, all a good chance of cracking it 2026.
The United States eliminated Venezuela from the 2023 tournament with an exciting 9-7 victory in the quarterfinals. Before that, Venezuela went 4-0 in polar game against the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Israel and Nicaragua.
As it did in 2023, the 2026 WBC will Take four pools of five teams. The top two teams in each pool go up to the quarterfinals in Miami and Houston on 13 and 14 March. Venezuela is in Pool D, which takes place from 6-11 March in Miami. Pool D includes the Dominican Republic, the Netherlands, Israel and Nicaragua.

Minnesota Twins that plays game 2 or series against New York Yankees
Game 2 of the three-game series of the Minnesota Twins Against the New York Yankees is planned to start on Tuesday at 6.05 pm CT in Yankee Stadium. The planned starting pitcher of Minnesota still has to be announced and Lefty Carlos Rodón is planned to make the start on the hill for New York.
