Turf Paradise celebrates opening under new management

Grass paradise will celebrate a grand opening under new management when live racing resumes on Friday, December 26, launching a new era for Arizona’s first professional sports franchise during its historic 70th racing season.

The two-day celebration on December 26-27 will offer free admission and a host of family-friendly activities, welcoming both old fans and new guests to experience the renewed energy at Turf Paradise.

The gates open at 11 a.m. both days and the first post at 1:15 p.m

The celebration follows the official award of the operating license to Skyfall 7 on December 15, solidifying a new chapter for Turf Paradise and the future of live thoroughbred racing in Arizona. Skyfall 7’s management team, led by General Manager Tom Ludt, has overseen day-to-day operations since the track opened its milestone season on November 10. Live racing continues through May 2.

Fans can expect a revamped Turf Paradise experience as Skyfall 7 implements a series of capital improvements designed to enhance both the racing product and the overall fan environment.
