Washington president Donald Trump announced on Tuesday that US Space Command will be established in Alabama and a decision of a Biden era will turn to keep it at the temporary headquarters in Colorado.
The long -awaited decision of Trump Caps a four -year -old tugboat of war between two states and opposing administrations about where US Space Command can be found, an intense fight because the head office would be an important blessing for the local economy.
Alabama and Colorado fought for a long time to claim the space tax, with chosen officials from both states who claim that their state is the better location.
“The headquarters of the US Space Command will move to the beautiful location of a place called Huntsville, Alabama, forever to be known as Rocket City from this point,” said Trump, flanked by Republican members of the Congressegatie by Alabama, of the Oval Office on Tuesday. “We have had a lot of competition for this and Alabama gets it.”

Trump said that Huntsville won the race for the Space Command headquarters, partly, because “they fought harder for it than anyone else.”
The functions of Space Command include performing operations such as the engaging of satellite -based navigation and troop communication and offering warning for rocket launches.
Huntsville, Alabama, has long been home to the Redstone Arsenal of the army and the Marshall Space Flight Center of NASA. The Space and Missile Defense Command of the army is also in Huntsville, which was nicknamed its “Rocket City” because of his role in building the first rockets for the US Space Program.

The Saga extends until 2021, when the Air Force identified the army of Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville as the preferred location for the new US Space Command. The city was chosen after site visits to six states that compared factors such as infrastructure capacity, community support and costs for the Ministry of Defense.

Trump said on Tuesday that his initial plans to find the head office in Huntsville, “were wrongly impeded by the Biden administration.” But he also said the fact that Colorado post-voices “also played a big factor” when moving the headquarters of Colorado Springs.
