Ticket shows the most unromantic cities in Europe

Wasaline is now officially part of Stena Line
The acquisition of Wasaline by Stena Line was officially completed with a ceremony in Umeå. On November 4, 2025, Stena Line announced the purchase of the company NLC Ferry Oy/Wasaline, which meant taking over the operation of the ferry line between Umeå and Vaasa. From now on, Wasaline is therefore part of Stena Line. Wasaline will continue its activities under the retained brand, with minor adjustments.

Stena Line is renovating ferries on the Gothenburg-Kiel route
Stena Line has invested millions in an extensive renovation and modernization of the ferries Stena Germanica and Stena Scandinavica on the Gothenburg-Kiel route. The renovation includes restaurant and bar areas and outdoor terraces for the upcoming travel season. At the same time, two themed cruises will be launched in the spring.

MSC Cruises invests in marine research in Alaska
