Travel and leisure grants 2026! As usual, we start the year with a selection of this year’s fairs and festivals, focusing on travel, camping and leisure… but also food and drink! Maybe you would like to attend one of these?

Below you will find a selection of this year’s travel and leisure grants 2026. We have collected fairs and festivals for the public, focusing on travel, living abroad, cars, boats, camping, outdoor living, hunting & fishing, adventure, food & drink and the like. Most of the fairs are organized in Sweden, but we have also included some larger events in our nearest neighboring countries.

Please note that this is a selection – there may of course be several – and that we take no responsibility for any exchange changes or cancellations. If you’re interested in an event, your best bet is to google it and check out their own website!

January

One of the largest travel fairs in Scandinavia will be organized in January Matka Travel Grant in Helsinki. We have visited this fair a few times and it is usually big and good!

February

The fairs really start in February. We start by listing all the scholarships that focus on travel, leisure and living abroad. Holiday for everyone There is a large and good travel fair in Denmark that we have already visited.

In February it is also time for a whole series of fairs with the focus on food and drinks. This type of fair is organized throughout the country and can often be smaller.

Mars

March is a real trade fair month! We usually try to be involved Stockholm Caravan camper which is arranged parallel to Everything for the lake in Stockholm. Sometimes we also give lectures, which we did in 2025. We also visited the Tumbomässan 2025 caravan and camper fair, which was great fun.

April

April remains a good fair month, with different types of fairs throughout the country.

June

Is June a big fair month? No, not right away… During this month you can take the opportunity to do something different!

July

July is also not a big trade fair month, but at the end of the month a rural life and wilderness fair is organized in Jämtland.

August

The largest leisure fair in August is without a doubt Noliamässanwhich is organized every two years in Umeå and every two years in Piteå. The fair has three focus areas: Food & Pantry, House & Home and Leisure & Motor. A few years ago we visited the Nolia fair, and we must say it was quite a fair!

September

September is an important trade fair month in the camping industry – first the big one Caravan salon in Düsseldorf, Germany, and then the largest mobile living fair in Scandinavia: Elmia Caravan camper. We recently reported on campers at the fair and presented an award for Destination of the Year 2025. The book fair is also an opportunity for inspiration – for example about travel.

October

November

Normally there aren’t many travel fairs or leisure fairs in November, but the Stockholm Senior Festival (and the Travel Fair) has been moved from October to November this year. This fair may not be comparable to the Finnish and Danish travel fairs, but it is, after all, Sweden’s largest travel fair. Usually we try to plan this fair even if it was a short visit in 2025.
