Tottenham Hotspur has been associated with a movement for Antoine -Semenyo in recent months.
They remain interested in the 25-year-old African attacker, and it will be interesting to see if they decide to take a step for him in January. Signing the player will not be easy and he will probably cost around £ 70-80 million.
Pete O’Rourke told Football Insider: “It will be a difficult deal to do a number of reasons. It will be difficult to do because Bournemouth is not looking for Semenyo.
“The price tag that will be on his head, it will probably be around 70 to 80 million pounds plus, I think, for someone like him.
“It will also be difficult to do because of the enormous rival interest in Semenyo … It will not just be Tottenham who is interested in him.”
Spurs could use Antoine Semenyo
Semenyo would be a quality addition to Tottenham if they succeed in closing the deal. They would use a dynamic attacker that he can use that can be pressed in multiple attacking roles and contributes to goals and creativity. He has shown his quality in the Premier League at Bournemouth and has the opportunity to play for the biggest clubs.
Semenyo has been described by his teammates as a player with “All the power in the world”. Tottenham would do well to secure his signature. It is still to be seen whether they can convince the cherries to sell.
Semenyo can find a movement

The 25-year-old will certainly be attracted to the idea of playing for a larger club. He will want to compete in the UEFA Champions League and fight for trophies. Tottenham will be able to provide him with that platform.
Semenyo is at the height of his career, and this is the right time for him to continue and take on a new challenge. He knows the Premier League well and he will be able to immediately have an impact on Tottenham.
