Finn Kuehl recently released a new one Website called Two-way talents. The Kuehl website is a comprehensive database of 316 eligible two -way players. Each player is assessed from five stars, similar to the ranking of basketball players in high school. This is accompanied by a mini scouting report and some important skills. Since this is a key factor upside down; However, being able to contribute immediately, there is also things, especially for older players.
The Minnesota Timberwolves have four two -way players: Johnny Juzang, Rocco Zikarsky, Enrique Freeman and Tristen Newton. Juzang is not in a training camp, not a two -way deal, but he is still eligible for one. Zikarsky, Freeman and Newton currently occupy the two -way places of the Wolves. In particular, Juzang, Zikarsky and Freeman all had four stars or higher, with Juzang earned five-star.

Johnny Juzang
Juzang was one of the 11 players who achieved a five -star rating. Needless to say, this is a lot of praise for a database that includes 316 players. Juzang played a real role for the Utah Jazz last season, on average 19.8 minutes, 8.9 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.1 assists at 42.9/37.6/84.9 Shooting splits. Juzang is undoubtedly a more proven NBA employee than the vast majority of two-way players, so this assessment is logical.
The UCLA product is a knockdown -shooter, who has received 38.4 percent of his shots from outside the arch in the past two seasons. In combination with its impressive positional size (6-foot-7) and its overall score skills, it is easy to see Juzang harden a consistent NBA role. Given how much of a premium is and what Juzang has already shown in the NBA, he should be in the game for a schedule. However, if he does not make the last schedule of the wolves, they can re -arrange their two -way boys and make room for Juzang.
Rocco Zikarsky
Minnesota set up Zikarsky with the 45th general choice in June. The 19-year-old is full of top, but will probably need some time to develop. Nevertheless, the 7-foot-2 big man is a skilled shotblocker, rebounder and interior scorer with a smooth touch. Kuehl notes that Zikarsky’s most important attributes such as a Shot Blocker and Rebound hunter.
The Australian resident will take advantage of some time spending time in the G -competition while adapting to the pace of the NBA. However, Zikarsky’s talent for rim protection could set him up for final NBA success. With Zikarsky and first round Pick Joan Beringer, the Wolves have two high upward Rookie big men.
Enrique Freeman
Shortly after signing Juzang, the Wolven brought in Freeman to fill their last two -way spot. Freeman spent his Rookie season with the Indiana Pacers on a two-way contract. At the age of 25, the Akron product has a better chance to contribute immediately than most players. Freeman’s 6-foot-7 frame and 7-foot-2 spanning width give him a huge defensive versatility.
In the G League, the pick of the second round of 2024 was an average of 16.9 points, 9.9 rebounds and 3 assists last season. He used to lead the NCAA in recovery even though he was only 6-foot-7. Freeman is also a high -level finisher.
For Freeman to stay at NBA level, he will probably have to develop as a shooter and playmaker. Nevertheless, his skills are very intriguing. Ultimately, having so many talented two -way players is proof of the organizational depth of Minnesota.
