Last week I wrote about some players who could possibly be brought to the Colorado Rockies in the hope of bringing the team back to a sort of relevance one day. You all seemed to love that article (s), so I might as well let the good times roll and walk back. This time, as the title suggests, I will view the outfield.
Let me precede this now: I think the Outfield from Colorado is in a better place than for centuries. This could be a hot version, but it would be fine to enter 2026 with the Jordan Beck-Brenton Doyle-Zac Veen Array that we saw earlier this season, with Tyler Freeman or Yanquild Fernández they supported. However, each team can at least take a look at some other possible combinations, especially when they need the run-scoring help that the Rockies do. And I mean, just Tien-like games left in the season And the play-offs a FAR-Gone dream, what do I have to lose except the respect of your fine members of the Purple Row messages?
Anyway, let’s see which players from the upcoming class Free Agent might be fun for an outfield or DH spot on the 2026 Rockies.
It would be nice for the Rockies to take a free agent from the A-list, such as Kyle Schwarber or Kyle Tucker, but we will keep things a little more realistic and instead point to Grisham, who enjoys a career year on the album. The 28-year-old midfielder has launched 31 home runs, the first 30-homer season of him Seven -year career. Some will say that he has benefited from the short veranda of the right field of the Yankee Stadium, but not fooled – Grisham actually got better from home (An oblique line from .272/.371/.536 on the road) in the friendly boundaries (.197/.318/.380).
Interestingly, Grisham has actually struggled somewhat to find out Coors Field (he hits.203 in 38 games there), but it is assumed that a full season that is spent at height would help to mitigate that issue. Although from Grisham Defense leaves something to be desireda team desperate Need for offensive doll Just as the Rockies may be willing to accept some insufficient handicraft in exchange for such an exciting bat. He can ultimately be the Slugging -Disguided Slagman who have pined fans in Colorado for so many years to see.

Winker is one of that Under-the-radar Solid players That helps a team to complete like the New York Mets. Nine-year-old veteran enjoyed success up and down at the MLB level, probably finished this season with a Even 0 BWA. The good news? Winker takes professional barriers, is in favorable counts and is in the Top echelon of chase % and runs. That is something that the Rockies would greatly appreciate, especially because they continue to do so Work on their attacking approach.
Winker’s barriers can be a strong starting point for part of the younger and/or more undisciplined of the Line-up of Colorado to try to pursue. I know that some of you do not like the concept of ‘veteran leadership’ that I occasionally tell, and that is fair, but there is no doubt that Winker’s kind of board approach is one that would do the Rockies well to try to use.
If signed, Winker would probably serve in a fourth outfielder role, where the other core members of the Outfield rotation of Colorado were seen. If not, he could also enter as the DH for next season. He will not probably hand in an All-Star campaign, but he would be a relief in an attack that desperately needs a disciplined, seasoned bat.

You all go Love this.
The signing of Andrew McCutchen is the last boss of my “leadership” signing ideas. He has been a favorite at Fan for his whole of him 18 seasons in MLBAnd although he certainly has lost some Pep in his step, are 0.4 bwar would be Sixth Best Van Rockies Hitter this season. Is that mark great? No, but I will take what I can get right now.
McCutchen has been a member of both bad teams and playoff teams, and undoubtedly has a wealth of advice, feedback and peculiarities to penetrate the next generation of Colorado talent. Despite his duration of the service at the highest level of the game, he still profiles like one Elite Strike Zone Analyst That doesn’t give many free outs, and it is still I have some doll In his bat – a .376 Sluggings will not set the world on fire, but it is one Better Mark than most who are suitable for the Rockies this season.
Again, “Cutch” would be fairly exclusively planned as a fourth outfield/designated Hitter role, but his impact would not only be banned to his game on the field. A Well -known leader and spokesperson for the teamMcCutchen would probably quickly take a position of authority and guidance in a team that only becomes younger. I understand that many will say that the non -quantifiable statistics of “clubhuisjer” doesn’t matter, but I think I’m just a different mindset. I think there is a place for someone to increase the spirits of his comrades before, during and after competitions, and I think Andrew McCutchen would be the perfect man for the track.
The Rockies Outfield is in a good place in general, but there is no reason not to explore any options to get more talent. Each of these three players can be welcome additions such as outfielders or designated hitters, both are positions that can use some extra depth (especially if Kris Bryant’s ailments Eventually as serious as they seem).
However, these are only three of the many possible options. Are there other players you would like to see, a stop in Colorado? Let me know!
Triple-A: Albuquerque Isotopen 9, Reno Aces 7
Despite the fact that they only count six hits, the aces managed to set up seven points against the isotopes. Fortunately, Albuquerque’s 16-Knock-barrel was enough to bring them to victory on Wednesday.
Owen Miller and Keston Hiura both recorded three hits, while the three RBI of Adael Amador were the most at night. Each ‘Topes starter picked up at least one hit and six recorded at least two. That is a solid night on the plate!
Kyle Brnovich had a tough outing when he allowed seven points (five earned) in his 3 1/3 inning start, but his bull pen picked him up as Mason Green, Carson Palmquist and Collin Baumgartner to make only one lonely hit in their 5 2/3 frames of relief possible.
