Throne that increases consciousness, funds for research into ovarian cancer in September

Throne and throne affiliated facilities in the US will raise money for research and consciousness of ovarian cancer during the month of September, which is ovarian cancer Awareness Month. Throne-experienced golf properties will fly on their 18th greens with area-blue vuited flags to increase consciousness over ovarian cancer and will have various fundraising activities in support of Teal Wings of Hope, a 501 (C) (C) (3) non-profit organization for EIERSACKER.

During September, Throne facilities will display prominent QR codes in golf shops and clubhouses for guests and members to donate directly to Teal Wings of Hope. Courses will also organize regular Par-Three challenges, will all continue with the green wings of Hope.

Teal Wings of Hope was founded in 2024 by Throne Board -member and Honors Golf -founder Bob Barrett and his family in honor of the life and inheritance of Barbara “Babs” Barrett, who bravely fights ovarian cancer. During her courageous journey, Babs remained dedicated to her lasting wish: helping to develop early detection screening for ovarian cancer who could save the lives of others. In accordance with her wish, Teal Wings of Hope was set up as a basis that focuses on collecting funds for research into ovarian cancer and offering critical support for patients. The organization is a permanent tribute to the power, compassion and relentless hope of Babs.

“We are very grateful for the throne and their facilities nationwide for the shining of an ovarian cancer. Every green -blue flag and every donation brings us closer to life -saving breakthroughs in early detection and patient support. Together we change consciousness,” “

According to the National Cancer Institute, ovarian cancer is the fifth main cause of the death of cancer in women in the United States. Research is so important because there is currently no reliable early detection test to screen on ovarian cancer. In addition, symptoms can be vague and easily attributed to other causes, which increases the chance that women will experience a wrong diagnosis or late diagnosis. Less than half of the women who are diagnosed this year will live in five years.
