Three Bishnoi gang gunmen shoot at Haryana supplement shop, attack caught on camera

Three gunmen linked to gangster Lawrence Bishnoi opened fire at a supplement shop in Haryana’s Sonipat on Friday, triggering panic among people in the area. The brazen daylight attack, which was later claimed by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang in a social media post, was captured on CCTV cameras installed in the premises.

Police sources said the gunmen – two of whom were later identified through CCTV – arrived on a motorcycle and entered Pahal Nutrition, where the shooting took place. In the footage, a gunman hands a slip to the manager sitting at the counter. Moments later, he takes out his gun, aims at the manager and tries to shoot him, but the gun malfunctions and the manager takes cover with the table. The attacker flees the store.

In other CCTV footage, one of the attackers fires at the store, damaging the store’s glass facade, while his second accomplice fleeing the store is also seen brandishing his gun.

COPS EXPECT FIRE RELATED TO GANG RIVALRY

Investigators say the shooting appears to be linked to an ongoing rivalry between the Bishnoi gang and the Rohit Godara gang. Two months ago, the owner of Pahal Nutrition had reportedly received an extortion demand of Rs 2 crore under Godara’s name.

Shortly after the incident, a post surfaced on social media claiming responsibility for the firing. The post, allegedly made by gangster Randeep Malik on behalf of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, claimed that the attack was orchestrated by him along with an associate identified as Anil Pandit, who is said to be based in the US.

The post accused the shop owners of paying extortion money to rival gangster Rohit Gadara. Malik alleged that Pahal Nutrition was selling fake products and “corrupting the youth”, warning that anyone who paid money to its rivals would be targeted.

The post also contained threats against Haryanvi singer Masoom Sharma, asking him to apologize to village sarpanches or face consequences. However, police have said they are yet to verify the authenticity of the message and its claims.

COPS IDENTIFY 2 shooters involved in shooting

Meanwhile, police have identified two of the gunmen as Kapil and Ashish Malik, both residents of Sonipat. Officials said the attack was allegedly carried out on the orders of Randeep Malik, who is believed to be operating from abroad.

DCP (Crime) Narendra Kadian said the police are investigating the CCTV footage and the viral social media post and assured that the suspect would be arrested soon.

The incident has heightened fears among local traders and businessmen, with residents expressing concern about the growing influence of organized crime in the region.
