Every year, China gives us at least a few new bikemakers. And these new names usually try to get the headlines with their first offer. However, only a few earn these headlines, and a good example of this is currently the ZXMoto 820RR-RS. Yes, it is a strange name (ZX is copied from the Kawasaki Ninja, and the RR-R is from the flagship Honda CBR), but the performance and components are rather impressive. So much so that this sports bike appears on paper a Ducati Panigale V2 murderer.
The ZXMoto 820RR-RS has an 819cc triple-cylinder engine
ZXMoto has received the Yamaha and MV Agusta approach and has armed its 820RR-RS sports bike with a Triple-cylinder powerhouse. It moves 819 cubic centimeters, touring to more than 15,000 rpm, and has an Akrapovic titanium outlet. The result? A class-leading output of 150 hp. That is 30 ponies from the Ducati Panigale V2 and 33 more than the Yamaha YZF-R9. ZXMoto also claims that the bike weighs more than 400 pounds.

TOP charging substantiation helps the ZXMoto 820RR-RS to be a track weapon
In most cases, Chinese bikemakers usually use largely local components. J.Juan brakes and KYB suspension are, for example, common events on cfmoto and QJ engine bikes. However, ZXMoto has taken the unexplored path with the RR-RS. So the suspension comes from Ohlins (both in front and rear), the brakes include top-load brembo gp4 brake claws, the wheels are forged and there is a magnesium subframe at the back. The last two are unheard of in the sports bike segment (yes, even on liters of any size).
There is also a heavy dose of carbon fiber and modern rider aids. The first consists of cabbage exchanges, wings and heel plates, while the latter comprises in turns, bends, bend traction, wheel control and cruise control. A 6.2-inch TFT (with Bluetooth connectivity) helps you to access all Rider AIDS.

The ZXMoto 820RR-RS still has to reach international markets
If you like what you see, we have bad news. ZXMoto has just shown the bike in China, and it is not even for sale there. That means you have to wait a bit well until the 820RR-RS affects international dealers. The international launch is also not certain, because this is a new brand. Anyway, if it comes here at a considerable price, the 820 certainly has the potential to shake up the middleweight sports bike segment and give the big names a run for their money. Do you agree?
