Living in New York City, reaching the golf course can be an adventure. Whether it is by train, bus or boat, commuting to the track here is different than somewhere else in the country.
With that in mind, I give priority to two things in my golf shoes:
- They must be comfortable for long pieces.
- They have to look good – I can’t be caught looking unkempt in the streets of Brooklyn!
Fortunately I have found a golf shoe that checks both courses: the Reebok Club C.
As you may have heard, Reebok recently reintroduced the golf market and they pulled Bryson Deschambeau to be the face of their relaunch. So far it seems a huge success.
I will admit that in the beginning I was skeptical about how the new line would perform. But after wearing the club CS this summer, I am completely addicted.
With a sturdy sole, they seamlessly switch from the track to the street – and the style is unparalleled. I love the classic look of the Circle C 85 Vintage, so it’s great to see that design in the golf world. Landing through the city, you would never guess wearing golf shoes.
To complete it completely, they provide comfort – even during long runs. I recently dressed for a friend during a 3-hole day in the metamateur, and my feet felt great all the time.
