We are halfway through the point of 2025 Tour Championship and five golfers have separated themselves on the rankings.
While Tommy Fleetwood and Russell Henley share the lead at 13 at the bottom of East Lake, with the Fedex Cup title 36 -Holes, Cameron Young, Robert Macintyre and Patrick Cantlay join double digits under Par through two rounds.
The next nearest golfer is world no. 1 Scottie Scheffler, who sometimes struggled during the second round, which was forced on the day due to predicted storms in Atlanta, but saving a one-under 69 with a hug in the last.
It should not be a surprise that the best five players so far this week are at the top of the top of at least one big beating win category, so let’s look at the clubs that the leaders have chosen this week as they are chasing the FedEx Cup title and the Tour Championship Crown.
T1. Tommy Fleetwood, -13: Taylormade Spider Tour Putter
Jack Hirsh/Golf
We could just as easily present the P7TW irons of Fleetwood, who received it second in the field with 2.83 strokes, but he will take more than a shot with his Taylormade Spider Tour Putter.
Fleetwood switched earlier this season to the Spider Tour and De Putter contains distinctive adapted Sharpie lines along the top line to help Fleetwood to be centered over the ball and to bring itself into line.

T1. Russell Henley, -13: Scotty Cameron Phantom x 5 Tour Prototype Putter
;)
Titleist
Russelly Henley’s flatstick cooled down a bit from round 1 on Friday. But how could he not after he had made Foot Putts on his way to his career-loage round on the PGA Tour with a 61 on Thursday.
Henley uses a Scotty Cameron Phantom x 5 Tour prototype Putter and leads the field in strokes that have been won with nearly five shots picked up on the Greens. That is despite the fact that he lost half a stroke on Friday, where he still shot 66.

Scotty Cameron 2024 Phantom 5 Custom Putter
Designed with an updated, slightly more compact shape with refined wing corners to improve the alignment, the almost face balanced Phantom 5 remains faithful to its design proven by Tour and has a medium bending shaft, new Sight-Dot lines and a knife-like feeling.

3. Cameron Young, -11: Titleist 631.Cy Irons
;)
Titleist
With the help of a split set of the 2023 T200 4-IRON, 2023 T100 5-IRON and its custom title 631.Cy prototype 6-9 Irons, Cameron Young set up a Bal-Pitting Clinic this week and recorded four shots, especially during his Friday 62.
His Scotty Cameron Phantom 9.5R Tour -Prototype Putter has been a huge reason for his beautiful game in recent weeks, which resulted in his first PGA Tour victory in the Wyndham. But his balling improvement can also be linked to his switch to the new Titleist Pro V1X Double Dot Prototype Golf Ball.
T4. Robert Macintyre, -10: Titleist TSR2 -Driver
;)
Titleist
Among the leaders, Robert Macintyre played the most balanced wave this week, ranked in the top 13 categories in all four strokes, but it is his play of the Tee with his titleist TSR2 driver who has our attention.
Macintyre becomes fifth in the strokes obtained: off-the-tee and mixes distance and accuracy nice, on average 312.5 meters from the T-shirt while so far only misses seven fairways.

T4. Patrick Cantlay, -10, title TS2 7 -Wood
;)

Perhaps the shot from the day on Friday was the approach of Cantlay in the Par-5 18th of 249 Yards to six feet to set up an eagle who brought him to 10. His swing with a seven-year-old title TS2 7-Wood caught the attention of Justin Thomas, who at the time signed his score card and had just played his second and had made a similar position on 18 at 18.
Cantlay, such as Macintyre, is also driving a string this week with his title GT2 driver, second in SG: Off-the-Tee and on average 322 yards per doll.
