The Japanese Daisuke Yamashita has probably visited more shoemakers and shoemakers than someone else who lives today, something he has shared in books and on his blog. Since the book has just been released, I didn’t have time to read it carefully, just browse through, but the content really likes to read it. In summary, it is because of the various shoe schools that are found in Europe and their characteristics, and then to be more in -depth about making the last, construction and various techniques for shoemakers. It ends with a few essays with different views on shoemaker. The text is rather concentrated, everywhere there are a number of images, not professional, but taken by Daisuke who do his job well.
