The suspect blames in Tiktoker Samiya Hijab kidnapping case

The suspect in the Tiktoker Samiya Hijab Kidnapping Case has blamed for a court in Islamabad and was sent back five days to the detention of the police.

On Tuesday, the police of Islamabad Hassan Zahid presented for the courts of the district and the sessions in connection with the alleged attempt at kidnapping and extortion on Tiktoker Samiya Hijab.

Judicial magistrate Yasir Mahmood Chaudhry interviewed the accused of his actions and the threats for the victim. In response, Zahid blamed and said to the court, “Sir, I made a mistake.”

The police had sought an eight -day physical provisional detention to recover the vehicle, gun and cash from the suspect. However, the court approved only a five -day preface.

Officials confirmed that Zahid was arrested on Monday after Samiya Hijab had filed a complaint with the Shalimar police station and provided a video statement.

The first information report was submitted under various sections of the Pakistan Code of Criminal Law, including 354, 365, 392, 500, 509 and 511.

In her explanation, the tapping toker said that the suspect tried to abduct her from her home when she returned his gifts. She also claimed intimidation and abuse, adding that she has CCTV images as supporting evidence.

Authorities said that the investigation will continue during the provisional period to reclaim the evidence mentioned by the police.
