The success of the Eurobasket of Jazz Man overshadowed by the dominance of Lauri Markkanen

Lauri Markkanen has dominated the headlines since Eurobasket started. After a faint third season with the Utah Jazz, Markkans has given every indication that he is a return to the form season. His individual success, however, has overshadowed the history that Jusuf Nurkic has just made in the Eurobasket with his home country, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Nurkic has just helped its home country beyond the Eurobasket Group phase, which has not happened since 1993. It can be decided that Nurkic was just there for the ride, but his performance says differently.

Nurkic is praised as the best basketball player ever from Bosnia and Herzegovina. Even if the only other player from his country to play in the NBA is Mirza Teletovic, their success in Eurobasket shows how impactful Nurkic is still.
