HDFC Bank has a positive influence on more than 1.4 Crore -Levens in Tamil Nadu through its CSR -arm Parivartan. The bank has been active in the state since 2015 and covers 37 of the 38 districts of Tamil Nadu (except Namakkal), including two ambitious districts and 10 ambitious blocks.
PARIVARTAN CSR assignment in 2024-25 was £ 1,068 crore, an increase of 13 percent by more than £ 945 crore in the previous year, said Nusrat Pathan, Head of CSR, HDFC Bank. “About 4 percent of the total allocation was for Tamil Nadu,” she told newspapers on Wednesday.

In Tamil Nadu, rural development, promotion of education and skills training and living improvement have caused the most important impact. More than 24,500 farmers have benefited, together with 13,750 students and 1,478 trained people, she said.
“We continue to work to play a small role in promoting inclusive growth and creating lasting impact at the basic level,” said Nusrat Pathan, Head CSR, HDFC Bank.
About the development of skills, Pathhan said that a three -month residential skills development program for young people with disabilities helps to achieve a placement rate of 60 percent.
