Fans of Newcastle United respond to Newcastle V Spurs in the fourth round of Carabao Cup.
The draw followed on Wednesday evening the command 4-1 hammering of Bradford City in St James’ Park.

‘A new opposition of the lower competition would have had more opportunities for the younger players.
Tottenham is a tough competition, but glad it’s with SJP.
We beat all the form teams when winning the trophy last season, so we should not be a fear of this draw. ‘

‘Spurs at home is a good draw for us.
We are at home against a team with which we have a good record, plus it is an opportunity to hit a Premiership team on the way to the quarterfinals.

Not that we have to fear an opponent after we beat Allcomers last season.
A home stretching against Tottenham is great for me, although they look much more difficult with Thomas Frank who was in charge than when Big Ange called the shots.
The three other all-prime minister League tires ensure that some large weapons will not make the quarterfinals.
My last eight are: Brentford, Brighton, Cardiff, Chelsea, Crystal Palace, Fulham, Man City and Newcastle United.

And it could have been worse.
If we want to successfully defend the trophy, we have a tough opponent who stands between us and the quarterfinals.
However, we usually defeat them and there is no reason not to view this luminaire in a positive way.
Okay, Wrexham, Grimsby or Cardiff would have been better, but it is what it is.
Some decent sides will also bite the dust in this round. ‘

“The draw could have been worse.
Spurs will be difficult, but at least we are at home. We also avoided Man City and Liverpool.
You have to beat the good teams to make progress and win in a cup competition, but favorable draws in the early rounds are always a help. ‘
