A totally different ambiance than next week in Mönchengladbach, where the Orange men will defend their European title.

Pressure in the French circle
Meijer had little to do against France. The Rotterdam goalkeeper only got a shot at goal in the second quarter. Corentin Sellier’s effort from the left went wide.
Meijer’s colleague on the other hand, Corentin Saunier, was considerably busier. The Netherlands received three penalty corners, two of which were rejected by Saunier. The French keeper also had an answer to shots by Steijn van Heijningen and Koen Bijd.
