It was jointly organized by the Indian Society for Veterinary Medicine (ISVM) and the Department of Veterinary Medicine, Madras Veterinary College. During the inaugural address, Major General SS Balaje, Director General of Remount Veterinary Services, outlined the importance of AI for precision diagnosis in veterinary medicine, urging young veterinarians to focus on recent developments in imaging, diagnostics and integration with machine learning AIR.
Narendra Babu, Vice Chancellor and Registrar of Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (TANUVAS), said the university is working with the National Agricultural Science Fund of the Indian Council for Agricultural Research on AI and IoT-based veterinary ecosystem for animal health, patient care and precision farming.
R. Ramprabhu, President, ISVM, Rajiv Gaikwad, General Secretary, ISVM, P. Devendran, Dean, Madras Veterinary College, S. Satheshkumar, Dean, Faculty of Basic Sciences, TANUVAS, were among those present.
