The 124cc single-cylinder engine of the Honda Super Cub is not exceptionally on paper, but that is exactly the point. Then we come to the transmission, which keeps the original “ride with one hand” philosophy alive. The semi-automatic transmission with four gears has a heel-toe shifter, but lacks a clutch lever. Select the gear, turn the throttle and the clutch automatically starts. Although such achievements and rich brands are ideal for urban driving, they do not necessarily shout fun in a market that is dominated by powerful motorcycles.

It is not exotic like a Ducati, nor loaded in Chrome like a Harley-Davidson. Instead it is clean and practical.
That modest design made the Superc of the world of the world, but it is also the reason why it is flying under the radar in the US today.
