Jay Jacobs, chairman of the New York Democratic Party, is a man among men. He does not speak to those big smiling fools, Gov. Hochul and Zohran Mamdani (“Chairman who takes a position for moderates”, September 20).
He does not deal with each other. Jacobs knows that pro-criminal candidates will only aggravate crime and safety in New York City. Yes – it can get worse.
New York City has become a refuge to do what you want, to whom you want, whenever you want without consequences.

I was relieved that Jacobs Backbone, principle and courage show to be against the capitulation of Hochul to the anti -Semitic socialist candidate for mayor.
As an independent voter, it is sad to see that so many Democrats have been morally abducted by the extremism from the left. It is important to see that there are still common democrats such as Jacobs, who have the core values and principles of the Democratic party, but do not exchange their morality for destructive extremist ideologies.

New York Democrats are in a mystery to say the least.
In Center Stage, Mamdani is a shoo-in for mayor in this phase of the game. On one side of him we have Gov. Hochul, who approves, and on the other hand we have Jay Jacobs, who rejects the socialist.
Regardless of their attitude, people spoke loud and clear in the primary.

The issue: Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and other Democrats who oppose a resolution in honor of Charlie Kirk.
There are no words that have the thoughts, beliefs and mean rhetoric of rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and other Democrats can justify who have voted against the resolution to honor the life of Charlie Kirk (“a demand”, September 20).
Charlie’s life was taken by the hatred and ignorance that is constantly crashing by the progressive links. He preached no hatred, terror or racism – he preached the truth through a conversation, always able to agree not to agree through debate and respecting everyone’s values.

It is hypocritical that so many Democrats-especially Ocasio-Cortez and its sick followers could not vote for a resolution in honor of a man who spoke about normality-not hatred.
Kirk’s opinions, although sometimes unpleasant to many, were supported by his dialogue with those who interrogated him.
Democrats not only denied a father of two young children an honorable resolution, but double their hateful rhetoric that Kirk was a fascist and bigot.
