Got into problems was a cooperative of Vigevano, which had started the migrant reception activity in recent years and had forged the registers from 2021 to 2023 to mislead the prefecture, with which he had an agreement for the management of various reception centers. When the prefecture noticed everything, she reported the thing to the Guardia di Finanza, who launched the investigation, coordinated by the Pavia Officer of Justice.
Did not guarantee promised services
The cooperative manager has now been hit by a preventive attack for around 66 thousand euros. During the investigation it was not only that the number of migrants welcomed in the centers was “blown up”, with the corresponding larger and unnecessary provision by the prefecture, but also that some promised services were not actually insured by the cooperative. And that is not all: Finance discovered that the President of the Board of Directors has retained some money from his own cooperative without explaining it.
The man is now being investigated on scam, false ideologically committed by private individuals in public deed, fraud in public stocks and explained explanation.
